Admissions

Places are limited at Earlscliffe, so we advise students to apply as early as possible, and no later than April in the year of proposed entry.

Entry process

› Submit the most recent two years’ school reports (in English)

› Submit copies of certificates of completed academic and English language qualifications

› Complete our application form

› Complete our subject options form for the relevant course

› Attain 5.5 IELTS level (or equivalent) for one year GCSE

› Attain 5.5 IELTS level (or equivalent) for A-level

› Achieve 4.5 IELTS level (or equivalent) for the Pre-A-Level course

› Complete an interview in person or online

› Complete our relevant assessment tests under exam conditions.

› Receive an offer letter

› Pay the registration fee and deposit, and sign the acceptance forms to accept the offer

Academic scholarships

There are a limited number of academic scholarships available at Earlscliffe, and our Admissions team are always happy to chat to students and families about the requirements.

Julie Fish

Position:

Founder | Director of Admissions & Marketing

Julie co-founded Earlscliffe in 2012 and is our Director of Admissions & Marketing.

Previously, Julie was Director of Sussex Summer Schools, which has run international Easter and summer programmes in Sussex and Kent since 2001.

Before entering the education sector, Julie was a Marketing Manager for Informa plc, a FTSE 100 publishing and events company. A native Belgian, she speaks English, French and Dutch. Julie enjoys long-standing relationships with many leading educational consultants around the world and is focused on providing an efficient and flexible customer-centred service at all times.

Andrew Wood

Position:

Head of Student Recruitment

Andrew has been working in education for over twenty five years. Originally starting his career in the UK, he later took positions in South America and the United States. His career experience in education has included roles such as Head Teacher and School Inspector.

After twenty years in Chile he is a fluent Spanish speaker. He has a Postgraduate Certificate in Secondary Education from Cambridge University. He is passionate about education and finding international students to benefit from Earlscliffe’s unique educational experience.

Jan O’Donnell

Position:

Admissions Officer

Jan brings over 25 years of business experience, primarily in operations and event management, to the admissions team.

She has more recently worked in education, tutoring and supporting students across a range of subjects and year groups. After completing her own studies, Jan travelled in Australia and lived in several parts of the UK before settling in Hythe, where she has enjoyed the outdoor lifestyle for more than 20 years while raising her two children.

She has also continued her professional development by studying marketing and completing a Learning Support Diploma.

Combining strong organisational skills with a passion for supporting young people, Jan is dedicated to guiding families through the admissions process with care and clarity.
